The Interview
We require at least one weekend interview for all prospective clients. The first part of the interview consists of an initial meeting and park run with you, your dog, and us with the dogs we have for the day. We prefer to have this meeting in the dog run of the Potrero Hill Recreation Center located atop the hill at Arkansas and Madera Streets. The second part of the interview may be a visit to our facility with your dog. This will allow us to understand how your dog is at home and how he or she will interact with ours.
While this process may seem a bit involved, it yields the best results. You'll get a feel for what your dog's day will be like and with whom he'll spend time playing, running, sleeping and exploring the world. In addition, it allows us all to become comfortable with each other, and ultimately, it allows us to provide you and your dog with the best service.
Our Business Model: The Private School
We feel our approach to our business truly sets us apart from other dog services. If you were to find an organization familiar to most people that resembles what we are building, that would be a private school. Like a private school, we try to accept the best candidates out there.
Unfortunately, not all dogs or owners are suited for our services. We screen heavily to ensure that all our clients are happy as our business grows. We also do not hesitate to expel a client when the dog or owner fails to meet our requirements. So far we've molded a pack that interacts closely with each other and we've amassed a group of dog guardians, who interestingly enough, have networked with each other.
